Definition

Yeast Extract is a high clarity high range autolysis of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It is selected for its capacity to fulfil with any fermentation purposes.

Description

Fine pale-yellow powder easily soluble in water.
Yeast Extract contains a mix of peptides, free amino acids, purine and pyrimidine bases and hydrosoluble vitamins of B group.

Use

Source of organic nitrogen and growth factors recommended in media for:
- Analytical microbiology
- Industrial fermentation. (pharma vaccines)

A certificate of analysis and a sanitary certificate are supplied with each delivery.

Packing and storage

25 kg net corrugated board box with inner polyethylene bags.
Upon request: 5 kg plastic drum.

When not in use, keep in original packaging, closed , at room temperature in a dry area.

Shelf life: 3 years.
